Novus Altair Ltd (company 7303078) is the data controller for this website and for the manned-guarding services we provide from 29 Salisbury Avenue, Barking, IG11 9XQ.
What we collect
- Enquiry forms: name, company, phone, email, site postcode and the service you asked for.
- Officer applications: contact details, SIA licence number, right-to-work information and screening data required by BS 7858.
- Client contracts: assignment instructions, incident reports and officer book-on records held in Novus Guard.
Why we use it
To reply to quotes, to screen and deploy officers, to meet SIA, HMRC and insurance duties, and to keep a site safe. The lawful bases are contract, legal obligation and legitimate interests in running a licensed security company.
How long we keep it
Enquiry mail that does not become a contract is kept only as long as needed to respond. Screening and vetting records follow BS 7858 retention. You can ask for a copy, a correction or erasure where the law allows.
