Server upgrades

Novus Guard servers are upgraded so the web admin, the officer apps, and the control room stay on a current, supported platform.
Web admin. Controllers keep using the same Novus Guard admin to plan jobs, patrols, and the roster. The admin runs on Laravel 10 (PHP 8.1+) with a Vue 3 interface — the screens you already use, on a supported stack.
Officer apps. Officers do not install a new app for this server upgrade. Sign-in and the tools already on the phone stay in place. Novus Guard Pro remains the Flutter field app; it keeps talking to the same APIs on the upgraded servers.
Control room. The control-room view of jobs and patrols stays available on the upgraded servers — on the web admin and on Novus Guard Control (Flutter). Live updates continue through the Node.js Socket.IO real-time layer, with Redis for broadcast and MySQL 8 as the data store (including the Enterprise Plus MySQL 8.0 high-availability path already described for larger deployments).
What we upgraded to (platform stack)
- Laravel 10 and PHP 8.1+ — web API and admin backend
- Vue 3 — web admin UI
- MySQL 8 — primary database
- Redis — cache and real-time broadcast
- Node.js Socket.IO — live control-room and app events
- Flutter clients (Pro + Control) — no forced reinstall for the server cutover
