How we run a site
A facilities manager should be able to see how an officer is supervised, not only that they are SIA licensed. This is the sequence we use on manned sites.
Screened officers
Vetting to BS 7858. DBS where schools, NHS or local government require it. Right to work checked.
Induction
Site rules, fire, lone-worker and any TUPE transfer notes if we are taking over from an incumbent.
Book-on
Officers book on through Novus Guard. The control room in Barking sees who is on duty.
Check-calls and patrols
Timed check-calls, GPS and waypoint evidence sit on the same record as incident photos.
Supervisors and incidents
A supervisor attends. Reports are filed so you can hand them to insurers or the police without reconstructing the night from memory.
